Years ago I was invited with a theater full of other people to review new pilots for sitcoms. All were atrocious. The audience in their survey cards gave all the shows a failing mark. I never saw any of them on television.

Afterwards, it occurred to me that people in Burbank must have no judgment or taste whatsoever. Who in his right mind, after reading those scripts, would waste money on a pilot that was obviously a dud? (Maybe I answered my own question.)
