The madness is spreading ever faster. Some really core contributors are threatening to rescind their license grants, which are permissions granted to the linux community to use their contributed code, which would likely hobble linux for awhile, across many industries and the internet in general.

Ok, so here’s the thing.

Say Coraline breaks into my house. Leaves DNA (hair, skin cells, spit, whatever. The police come, investigate, gather up the hair, etc. Test it. It comes back as “male”. Essentially, since Coraline lives as a “woman”, he’ll get away with the crime, right?

Now, say he murders someone - or many someones. DNA evidence will still point to a man.

That’s why this whole “transgender” shite is just that, shite.

XY = Male

No, because the regular everyday people who keep Linux running and innovating—the developer community—is fighting this bullshit hard.

I’m not sure the Linux corporate hacks can sustain the fight. They thought it was a good idea, as all PR types in a company generally favor social justice crap.

When it gets push-back they are usually dumb-founded.

The CoC is getting extremely high push back. It’s actually Chick-Fil-A level.

I think in time, most will rescind this SJW-written CoC and come up with something a lot more bland and a lot less accusatory.

It’s not just Linux. The SJWs are infecting all of technology with their garbage and vanity posing.

I am at a big Microsoft conference this wee (Ignite). A friend of mine who I thought was level-headed was arguing that the founder of Chik-Fil-A opening supported gay bashing groups.

To him, gay-bashing means not worshipping gay marriage and the rainbow flag.

Much of it comes from corporate and academic HR departments demanding "inclusiveness". Who decides who gets sent to conferences? Are they going to get pressure from HR to send representatives who "highlight our diversity"?

And once these types are there, any politically-incorrect statement overheard ( like a dongle joke )will result in screams, protests, firings, and corporate upsets -- which make companies reluctant to allow people to go if they are highly competent but potentially lacking in social graces.
