I did run across recent titles, on Google, about Sasse not running for re-election, in the lowly US Senate, but didn’t read the details for veracity.
If true, it hearkens to the opinion I did read, that he would like to be thought as an alternative to the Trump candidacy, in 2020. He falls into the Kasich camp in political style, but is an improvement over Kasich in his dining habits. Uses a knife and a fork.
There’s been chatter that Sasse believes he can run as a third party for President. Arrogant snob that he is.
Thank you for looking. I will try to remember where I heard just a comment about what he envisioned for governance in the future. Sasse represents a segment of offended evangelicals he thinks. Maybe the young ones who aren’t also in love with SJ issues or maybe the same bunch. He is too moral you see to support Trump. I am a Christian. I am not too moral to support good governance.
