You noticed the stones but I didn’t. I’m glad you mentioned them. Bible Study Fellowship is doing People of the Promised Land Part 1 this year. We studied Joshua 1-5 last week and the story of Israelites crossing the Jordanb into the Promised Land was the topic. In Chapter 4 God told Joshua to get 12 men to each get a stone from the middle of the river and set themup at Gilgsl to remind them what God had done for them.
Sorry for the messy post. My phone. Anyway, perhaps that stack of stones is reminiscent of the Joshua story. Funny how often the connection has come up for me this week.
Did 5 yrs of Bible Study Fellowship. It brought the Word of God to LIFE for me. So thankful for it.
