For his last bilat of the day, Trump welcomed Emmanuel Macron of France to the same room where he met with Moon Jae-in of South Korea and Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt.
Trump said of Macron, Weve had some very good experiences. On occasion, not so good, but 99% very good. France is doing very well, were doing very well, and importantly, were doing very well together.”
He said he planned to discuss trade and counterterrorism with Macron — then repeated that trade was on the agenda.
Macron expressed his condolences to the victims of HurricaneFlorence.
“We are here to discuss a lot of topics we have in common,” he said, listing trade and counterterrorism as well.
Trump then reminisced about the dinner that he and his wife had with Macron and his wife “at the top of the Eiffel Tower — one of the most beautiful evenings you will ever see. So it was a great honor.”
Trump, having sounded off on Rod Rosenstein and Brett Kavanaugh earlier in the day, ignored shouted questions on a variety of topics.
Not seeing the Kavanaugh interview anywhere so will report here.

So THIS is why @SenFeinstein was suddenly calling for an indefinite delay to Thursday's scheduled hearing. She likely got wind this was coming.
Grassley has now sprung his trap.
Once again, thank you for these pool reports!!!!! Love them.
President Trump deals with so many diverse people and issues in a short period of time. And he does it well. He is a national treasure.
