Do you sell the hay or do you have critters that eat it?
The neighbor pays for the fertilizing and cutting, and then he gets the hay for his cows.
So we don’t have to do anything but enjoy having the pasture short so we can walk around the whole winter. He cuts it in the early summer, and gets a lot of bales. And then the cut in the winter I think is mainly for us, he doesn’t get that much. And it’s probably to get the field short so the next spring crop is good. Just guessing!
