Ive been using gmail for about four or five years now. I realize Microsoft is not perfect, but has anyone here looked at the pluses and minuses of Outlook compared to Gmail?
Outlook is just a vehicle to display/manage your actual email account (like Word is a vehicle to open/manage written documents that can also be opened with Open Office) - I use Thunderbird as my email program for my gmail account - it just saves me having to sign in to gmail as the program automatically signs in when I bring it up.
I use Thunderbird (Mozilla) as a client for my Xfinity account. I can also, obviously, log in to the Xfinity web mail. But I love Thunderbird. I use Gmail (and some others) for throw-away addresses.
