What would be interesting is if one of them overshot the plane and crashed into the prop. Oops!

There can be worse mishaps.

About 25 years ago, not BASE jumping, just "regular" skydiving, a guy crashed into, and broke the stabilizer on a small g/a plane with four people on board.

The jumper survived with broken bones. The plane went down with no survivors.

The plane came in from out of state, and the pilot strayed, deviated, failed to notice, or simply ignored the aerial chart markings of restricted skydiving airspace when the flight plan was filed.

I think it was either upstate NY or maybe Orange, MA.
