If he’s the ex he probably already is. Likely why he called the cops on her. Also if he gave her the phone he’s probably paying the bill, so it is his phone. Maybe he gave it to her so he could talk to her without going through the mom. Maybe that’s why she took it away? Could be a lot more to the story than we’re hearing.

Divorce is ugly, even uglier when kids are involoved, and even worse than that when teens are involved, Teens are self centered egotistical non people who haven't figured out who they are so they try on new personnas every week. thrown in a teen girl dealing with her unstable cycles.. and its hyper uglier. Now throw in an absent father giving his daugher an iphone 6?. the entire family needs counseling. I agree the ex deserves "@sshole of the year" for calling the cops to report a theft of a phone the mother took away from the daughter.,for the ex.. perhaps a night in jail for filing a false theft charge. Everyone else needs a new family counsellor and a new custody agreement. One point to the mother for getting this asshat out of her life.
