Time is immaterial for light particles.
Confucius say;
“Time WEIGHTS for no one!”
Yup.
A photon perceives itself as existing along its entire path, no matter how long that takes, simultaneously. There is no passage of time from the start to the end of its trip - even if it took a billion years. All at once, zero distance, from its perspective.
