Right. I had no idea that legislators would approve the manufacture etc., of another addictive product. Clearly, they have no conscience re; health costs, impaired driving and other risks to society. They just want those lost cigarette taxes replaced.

That is contradicted by the fact that until VT legalized early this year, it was all done by ballot. Even blue state politicians have generally been opposed.
Politicians are at odds with where the people want to be on this issue.
