Not if you’re born here (or Puerto Rico). Good citizenship, yes—but again, P.R. is a unique exception, their government and educations system operate in Spanish. When we acquired P.R. in 1898, it was too small to be considered a viable nation. Since the 50s there are loads of independent states that are smaller and less developed/educated than P.R. We should have granted them independence, but likely the Cold War got in the way.

Some applicants don't have to satisfy the English requirement; that is, they are exempt from showing they can read, speak, and write English. You don't have to take the English test if you are: 50 years old or older and you've lived in the U.S. as a permanent resident for at least 20 years, or.

It sad how the democraps have turned things, some sixty years ago both my parents and grandparents had to become proficient in English, both the spoken and written word, and they took their oath in English.

This is just more promotion of division by liberal skanks rather than the promotion of a homogeneous American society, they prefer weakness that they can exploit rather than have the strength of a complimentary society.
