If they cant bring in a world-class band, e.g. U2, Who, Stones, U2, etc then they shouldn’t bother.
The acts have to PAY the NFL and PAY for the 1/2 time show set up ,stage, etc. So when the NFL says so and so is going to play the superbowl 1/2 time show, what they mean is , so and so is paying the NFL for a 15 minute TV show.
