I’ve got a looooong list of session bashers that I’m holding on to for the moment

I hope my name is on that list because I have bashed Sessions recently and repeatedly. The problem with not playing politics is that he is a politician in a political milieu where everyone else is playing politics. He may be playing a long game - we will see. But his huge mistake is losing the support of his side and demoralizing them. You cannot get that back. Maybe if he shows what he is made of in the next week - or at most and this is really stretching it two - he might be able to ask forgiveness. But, as Alinsky's rules state, this has dragged on for far too long and has become a real drag. He is way past letting down the home team. He has forgotten that there is a home team or that he needs them behind him. It isn't just about him. It is about us. We have other things to worry about and need to get on with our lives.

What we have been through for the last six months of the last almost two years is unpardonable. It is simply inexcusable.

This is good commentary. I’ll have more to say on this when there is time.

Jeff Sessions is not a bad man. Personally, I think each of us would be pleased to meet him.

The only thing that concerns me is his recusal and the fact that most Trump supporters who think that his recusal was a strategic move don’t understand what ‘recusal’ means, what it fully means. It cannot be a strategic move when you know the full meaning of what it means to be recused. The only way Jeff Sessions could have used ‘recusal’ in a strategic sense would be if he worked in the background on things he was recused from, but that would mean he’s unethical when in fact he’s highly ethical. So logically it means recusal was not strategic, it was an error and POTUS has been sincere all along about that error.

But now there is information that Sessions is un-recused but we don’t know the extent of his un-recusal because it’s classified. I believe Jeff has caught hell from all quarters for his recusal and POTUS has finally persuaded him to get back in the game.

Better late than never.
