Glad to hear your call for activism. Here we are also active and we have some of the best minds, and most historic posters on FR.
There is so much research and enthusiasm on the Q threads... I had given up on FR because of all the whining, complaining, and attacking of fellow FReepers that goes on. Seems many FReepers would rather antagonize and complain than do some digging and contribute to the knowledge base. They seem to focus on what divides us.
On the Q threads, we try to focus on what unites us and we dig for knowledge. We are actively discussing and learning. Think of how FR has changed in the last decade... fewer and fewer threads get up to 100 comments. I believe many people are, like me, turned off by all the backbiting and meanness on most threads.
Course now we know that much of the backbiting and meanness could very well be paid shills, disruptors, and trolls (if not bots) just as much of the disgusting content on the chans comes from the same.
