If anything - and this is as if not more plausible than anything, since it appears she is not going to appear - she’s identified the wrong person!
maybe Garrett’s a dem and has quietly contacted her to say “hey, cut it out, that wasn’t him...you’re going to get us ALL screwed..”
Or she just built her lies around something she had some familiarity with never thinking anyone would be able to figure it out since she was being vague about where it was.
