You don’t understand psychotherapy and depth psychology. Plasticity of emotional memory and fabrication of events is common. I’ve studied this issue and the work of Elizabeth Loftus for many years AND worked with patients to correct false memories implanted by inept therapists.

It's called confabulation. And you can bet that word is somewhere in her therapist's notes.

I kinda do, mister.

I am not disagreeing with you. However, they said this was COUPLES THERAPY, so it is a fair guess that they were having problems, and as you and I know, a woman not being intimate with her spouse is a frequent reason for therapy. And an old story about her high school days could he trotted out. Whether real or imagined or “brought up.” This incident is a nothingburger compared to someone who suffered serious sex abuse, so she is grasping at straws. Are we still allowed to grasp at them?
