Lying about sexual abuse/assault/misconduct is the norm for leftists these days.
It comes from 2 motivations.
1. Every leftist needs to feel victimized by someone.
2. The cynical left knows full well that the hand-wringing TruCon will fall for any accusation against their own side. Without question. No thinking involved by the TruCon. The left makes an accusation, it is *always* taken as true. Therefore, a non-commiescum can be eliminated by the left with a simple false statement.
