Have you ever tried to have a “discussion” about a religion with a true believer?

There are holes in the logic you can drive a car through. But they are attributed to “faith.” And trying to explain “faith” is a losing discussion point.

So, as your mother probably taught you, you do not discuss politics or religion in polite company.

That was my point.

Take the emotion out of it. Look at it for what it is. Then look at it from 50,000 feet and ask tough questions. What is it? What is the intent? What was promised? What was delivered?

People will make their own decision. Debating it on FR is a fool’s errand. I will continue to read the posts. I think it’s an interesting phenomenon. And I will vote in November.
