North Carolina residents rushed to stack up on food, water, toilet paper and other necessities as 'monster' Hurricane Florence is set to touchdown in the state early this weekend.
A rowdy crowd was shown in a Facebook video shared by an employee from the supermarket off Glenn School Road in Durham Tuesday pushing one another and shouting as they hurried around the store to gather their supplies.
Police officers were even spotted making their rounds around the Walmart to ensure the safety of shoppers.
One officer is seen restraining a young boy as another shopper drops several bottles of water.

They have also been whipped into a frenzy by the media who already a week ago declared this storm the worst to hit Carolina in a century.
And now it turns out Durham isn’t going to get much bad weather due to the path changing since Tuesday.
I just looked at the radar and Florence is sucking in a lot of dry air. Max winds are 100, but that’s probably stretching it.
Remember how Rush got completely hammered by the media last year when he pointed out that these hurricanes are showing an angry red on the radar screen and that people should use their tap water to fill up bottles?

But that wouldn’t be BOTTLED water, which everyone knows is the only kind that is suitable for emergencies.
