Don’t even joke.
I knew the neighbor whose land I hunt on (a friend’s land)had grandkids who loved to blast through trails in the woods. While walking (with permission ) on his land I found wire tightly pulled across the trail neck high. I removed it. Told the neighbor. It was another neighbor a few miles down who were annoyed by the kids. Apparently he was the one who set the trap. And set it on the land the kids were allowed on.
Cops were NOT called (I would have). There was from what I heard an excited dialog that went on with not so couched threats against the wire setter.
Wow. That’s the kind of story that ends with a good old fashioned multigenerational feud.
