When 22-year-old Jessy first learned she was pregnant, she was in shock.

What is shocking is people now days have not concept of condoms or taking advantage of the college's free birth control pills. If they're that stupid, then they should keep their pants zipped and their knees together.

Oh they have the knowledge of the various birth control methods, they just choose not to use them. Here’s the graphic truth. Men hate condoms for obvious reasons and won’t use them. Also the pill has to be taken consistently or oops! All this being said teen pregnancies are down because the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists are pushing LARCs ( long acting contraception) that are either implants or injectables that prevent pregnancies and periods for months and years at a time. Young women are signing up by the thousands so they don’t have the hassle of getting a period. The long term health consequences are unknown and not discussed by prescribing physicians. That’s the hard truth.

What is shocking is people have no concept of the fact that even with condoms and birth control pills. they can still get pregnant. In the city where I live, the coordinator of the local pro-life Pregnancy Aid center got pregnant years ago, unmarried, twice: once when using a condom and once on the pill.

She should have known that you can get a "breakthrough ovulation" if you forget to take the Pill even once, and that's what she had done. And speaking of "breakthrough," that term --- as well as "slip and drip," "wear and tear," applies to condoms as well :o/

Friends, sex was designed for reproduction, and as they said in Jurassic Park, "Life...uh...finds a way."

Bottom line: unless you're married and ready to meet a kid who calls you "Dad" or "Mom," everybody should keep their pants zipped and their knees together.

Or be prepared to be a murderer.
