I guess we are to assume she had the abortion when she was a teen.

However most of these abortions occurred when these women were in college putting them at 18 or 19, still old enough to know better. If they spent more time on their studies and less time whoring around maybe they’d go far and not be worried about being pregnant.

Teen Vogue seems to be impressing upon teen and pre-teen girls that pregnancy is likely for them as teens. Who among them can even afford an abortion or has their own insurance?

do 18 and 19 year olds even read teen vogue?

The scare also seems to be to get them concerned about elections but those under 18 cannot vote.

No, it states right in the opening sentence - "When 22-year-old Jessy first learned she was pregnant ..."
Just another example of 21st Century journalism.
