Yep, right up there with his dad during the first Gulf War. I remember an SNL skit, "The 1992 Democrat Debate to Determine Who Will Lose to George Bush". Buncha pols arguing about how unqualified they were to be president, and how they shouldn't be picked.

Amazing how quickly things change.

I'd still argue that Bush Jr. was a better choice than AlGore or Kerry, just as McCain or Romney were better choices than Obama. But it's a matter of inches, the choice was between liberal democrats and slightly less liberal democrats.

I’m with you 100%. I would still vote for Bush, not even .001% I wouldn’t.

But I will say, that highlights the absolute contempt I feel for people like Gore and Kerry to say that, because my opinion of George Bush at this time is pretty damn low!
