Longtime journalist Bob Woodward said Monday that Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly “are not telling the truth” when they deny making disparaging statements about President Donald Trump attributed to them in his new book, “Fear.”
Kelly is quoted calling Trump “an idiot,” and Mattis is quoted saying Trump has the understanding of “a fifth or sixth-grader,” but they’ve said they didn’t make those statements.
Woodward, asked on Monday on NBC’s “Today” show about their denials, said, “They are not telling the truth.” He said “these are political statements to protect their jobs.”
The Pulitzer Prize-winning Woodward staunchly defended the integrity of his reporting and said the book, which comes out this week, “is as carefully done as you can do an excavation of the reality of what goes on.” …

In 1987,Woodward claimed he sneaked into a hospital room and while there,William Casey came out of a deathbed coma and revealed informatio he used in a book and immediately went back into the coma after to talking to him. Casey’s family and the doctors said that was impossible.

I wish Mattis was lying to get him fired. He is a total and abject failure at the Pentagon, cleaning up NOTHING left by Obama.
Why would Woodward get his input from people he is calling liars? Does that say something about his competence?
I most certainly would believe Mattis and Kelly, men of proven integrity and honor, than Woodward, a known propagandist for the Democratic Party. He was given all kinds of awards by the left because he carried their water with questionable ethics.
Now Woodward is part of the vast left wing conspiracy that so far is failing to bring down a sitting president. Instead President Trump is making America Great Again, whilst the enemy of the people is wallowing and drowning in their own hate, hysteria, and excrement.
