I worked out a long time - 6 days - 7 days a week. Never, ever was there a woman even close to that in the gyms at anytime where I was. That looks like a dude. Like a dude on the juice. Look at those shoulders / armpits / upper back. And the forearms. I could pull 240 lbs repeatedly on the low row machine (I weighed 180 lbs or so), did tremendous one-arm reps (each arm) from 15lbs to 85lbs constantly (10 reps in 5lb increments - like 140 reps each arm. My forearms weren’t that big.

I never did steroids. But there were guys there that did. Several of them. You can easily tell who is and who isn’t.

One guy changed so much I didn’t recognize him from across the room (about 30 feet away).

former tennis umpire:

9 Sept: TWEET: Richard Ings, CEO of Australian Sports Anti Doping Authority (2005 to 2010)
Umpiring is so easy from the top of the grand stand.
I can also confirm that Carlos Ramos earned his pay in that match. His pay? US$450 which is the daily rate all USTA umpires are paid

Australian dollars quoted in the following:

10 Sept: news.com.au: Incredible truth about chair umpire in Serena Williams’ controversy
by Jai Bednall with AP
Former professional chair umpire Richard Ings has revealed the Portuguese official was paid the princely sum of $633 for taking charge of the Osaka-Williams encounter.
That’s only a shade more than the $548 that 23-time grand slam winner Williams earned every second she was on court while losing 6-2 6-4...

It comes seven years after the New York Times revealed top chair umpires were skipping the US Open because of how poorly it paid officials.
Since then daily rates have improved, from $350 to $633, but Ings said, in his experience, rates didn’t increase for the latter stages of the tournament, including the final. In a series of tweets, he said officials spend about 12 hours a day on site...

Many, Ings included, believe Ramos followed the rule book to the letter — and should be lauded for having the courage to call the violations as he saw them...

I once introduced myself to a “new” coworker at a company function. Turns out it was a guy I’d known for 8 years, who had taken up roids in the last few months.
