Yes, and subsequently the USA getting involved on Britain's behalf in WWI. That was a worthless war that not only gave us WWII later, but also gave Puerto Ricans citizenship. And when think about it the Spanish American sucked because it gave us Puerto Rico in the first place. Ugh.

We should have told the Brits that unless they stopped their Naval Blockade of Germany during WWI, we weren’t going to risk our ships to supply them.
That’s what a true neutral would have done.
