Sorry, I missed this in all the traffic. Much of what you say was true of the Pentagon Papers issue also; freedom of speech can be a bit of sticky wicket, what? One solution re: FB, Twitter et al might be to treat - and regulate - them as politically active partisan organizations. I don't have the legal expertise to string that out, but if they are going to be active politically then perhaps they should be regulated the same as other partisan political organizations.

I do feel for you. My mother in law has had back problems and found meds and treatments to help her function. She is 85. I didn’t sympathize with her enough until I had a herniated disc requiring surgery in 2014. Now I know how bad it can be and I am ashamed for not being more understanding. The surgery eventually yielded relief but MRI shows I have other problems and one is plaguing me this week but I hope it tones down and I can move on with life. Back problems are usually in store for everyone. For those like you who have had little relief I hate that you have to endure that pain. Saying a prayer for you now. Hopefully this procedure will help and God will protect you from the blood sugar problem.
I think it could be easily proven that Google, Facebook and Twitter are politically motivated in their censorship decisions, and therefore, to the extent they favor Democrats, they ARE a partisan organization, and are giving billions of dollars of campaign donations every election. MSM is a little trickier; they are not internet service providers open to the general public, they are news organizations. Probably couldn’t regulate content on the NYT any more than you could on FR or Breitbart.
