One of the (many) unfortunate side effects of trans ideology is that there will no longer be room for tomboys or any other “normal” variation within the two biological sexes. Now any deviation from the norm will be referred for hormone treatment and surgery.

There's a lot of wisdom in what you wrote.

When I was growing up (back in the Jurassic) girls had a lot of freedom to do whatever we wanted, without jeopardizing or rejecting our identity as girls. (At least, this was true in my family!)

You could climb trees. You could be great at math. You could bicycle all over the city by yourself, and without facing interrogation when you got home. You could aspire to be an astronaut. You could despise Barbie dolls. You could even change your attitude on things from week to week.

Now it seems chronic deviation from stereotyped femininity elicits from the critical gender elite the strong suggestion that you need a permanent surgical fix. If you submit, if you conform fully, you're called "brave" and "proud."

It's rigid sexism astoundingly masquerading as affirmation of diversity.

"Gender confirmation." How is that not blatant sex stereotyping? Cross-gender drugging and surgery. How is that not psychic and physical mutilation?
