I’m still wondering what set this off. If someone made a crack about the boat. If so, there are some issues that really need to be addressed since this is about more than just boorish behavior.

Yes, it is boorish behavior. I’ve worked with RN sailors before and they are very professional when they are on the ship. They really impressed me.
But, when they get off the ship, they do blow off steam in a very spectacular way. “Boorish” is an understatement. But, like all sailors, we truly do not care what the non-sailors think about us. I applaud my British brothers for reminding me of what’s great about being a sailor!!
