But, anyway, I accept that some people on FR are not familiar with that usage which is why I did not accuse anyone of intent, only pointed out what it is commonly understood as. Softengine replied that he was unaware of that.
I view use of triple parens as just more 8chan dreck sadly finding it's way onto Free Republic. We have had a good culture here for >20 years, and we don't need to import theirs (I think some FreeQs were making the same point about posting the entire intro-text of the 8chan Q-research board on the Q thread)
