I see no “daily summary” to click on.
Scroll down. It’s at the bottom.
I don’t see it either. I know that Joe Bastardi used to make a weekly free podcast, but I don’t see that anymore, either.
It’s there because I’m currently watching it.
Most of the computer models are forecasting a direct hit in the Outer Banks region. A few models predict a turn to the north away from land.
There’s 2 videos just below the pics of Bastardi and the other two.
Ah, found it in plain sight! Thank you.
Welcome! :-)
Is your text size set at over 100%? Sometimes that puts links or other text outside of the readable part of the screen.
Gordon and Florence could combine and sit there for a couple of days..
after it makes landfall and turns north....up aroundd VA
Not a pleasant prospect.
I was looking for a text hyperlink, but the “link” is a video still image with a blue play button.
I’m in VA Beach and don’t like the looks of this at all!
Things are “popping” a bit. We have Florence in the Atlantic, along with two systems coming off Africa, both with >90% chance of developing into tropical depressions or more, and in the Pacific, Norman (not very strong and should easily miss Hawaii), Olivia (got up to Cat 4 but “should” weaken to a tropical storm as it approaches Hawaii — heaven knows parts of Hawaii don’t need heavy rain again), and “Invest 92E” (has a moderate chance of turning into a tropical depression or more, but it will be a while before we know if it will be anything significant).
It’s all nothing too unusual for this time of year, but it IS that time of year.
Ruh-roh. It looks like NYC and Long Island are in for some of the action, a last slap from that storm. Great.
Even though we can see this unique meteorological potential from 10 days out it is no doubt being caused by climate change.
