I don't know how this legal fallacy has gone on so long without being used against the nation's drug laws.
If "control over one's body" is the "basics of democracy" as Steinem claims, then why doesn't this legalism invalidate ALL the nation's drug laws and a good percentage of medical procedures.
And since more men are incarcerated under drug convictions, ergo by the Left's position, men are unfairly persecuted by the government for "controlling their own bodies".
There is a great hypocrisy to be exposed on the national stage by a politician with the guts to reveal this contradiction.

The unborn baby doesn’t seem to get a choice over the survival of its body, though. The choice is made by someone else.
