Long drop hanging done poorly

There is another possible outcome of a miscalculated hanging.
Had one a few years back that tied off to an overpass and jumped in early morning (dark) hours. Was enough to break his neck, but it was dark and body hung there for several hours as rush hour traffic started up underneath. First calls coming in around dawn reported a dummy hanging off the overpass because body weight had stretched out neck to about 18-24 inches. Many people couldn’t believe a neck would stretch that far.
Yep. Long drop with possibly a thin rope. There is a science to doing a proper hanging.
