So all those people who were exposed to whatever on an enclosed plane for however many hours, are sent on their way to incubate and spread whatever it was they were exposed to.

True that,.. only one hundred exposed and then sent on their way.
But don't fret, the CDC has an address list as to where they were going, and will follow up in a week or so,
which will give any communicable disease/ influenza a week head start on contaminating the rest of the nation.
Then, and only then, will they have the justification for additional funding to control this communicable disease/ influenza.
Hopefully we will learn that all the passengers were temporarily exposed to toxic air fumes, and not influenza.
