Democratic candidate and Mayor of Tallahassee Andrew Gillum has a slight lead over U.S. Representative and Republican candidate Ron DeSantis in Florida's governor's race, according to a new poll by Quinnipiac University.

The poll found that 50 percent of likely voters would vote Gillum, and 47 percent would vote DeSantis.

Men back DeSantis 52 to 45 percent, while women back Gillum 55 to 42 percent, according to the poll.

Far left nut who wants 40% corporate tax rate. He’d drive businesses out of the state overnight.

How is this race even close?

If you poll Orlando and Miami, yeah. Get out of those areas, not even close.

It’s not. Quinnipiac called only people in cities who would say they liked Gillum. This same garbage poll has been linked here three times and it was bogus every time. Quit sharing and giving clicks to bogus polls and those who report them, please.

It’s not, this is another poll designed to manipulate public opinion, not measure it.

I think all of the polling throughout this race is going to reflect an extreme Wilder Effect.

Voters who won’t want to tell a pollster they aren’t voting for Gillum so they won’t be considered RAAAAAACIST.

But at the end of the day, they won’t vote for Gillum.

The average of the Real Clear Politics pre-primary election polls had Graham up 7.2 points on Gillum. Gillum won by 2.9 points.

They missed it by more than 10 points!

I remember that in 2008... we called it the Bradley Effect back then. Many of us convinced ourselves that was what kept Obama ahead of McCain in polling.

“How is this race even close?”

Answer: The 19th Amendment; “Bill Clinton’s so cute!” And before you flame me, consider: If the actor Bradley Cooper were running against someone like Barry Goldwater, who would women vote for...?

You know, its hard to believe that Rick Scott is actually losing this. I think Scott has the same number of voters he has always had. He did a good job as governor. He is popular. It seems the polls in Florida are not close to accurate.
