Virginia Tech fans who made the trip to Tallahassee, Florida, for the Hokies’ season opener against No. 19 Florida State on Monday seem to be happy with that decision — and they let the rest of the country know it.
No. 19 Virginia Tech dominated the Seminoles 24-3 on Monday night, spoiling Florida State coach Willie Taggart’s debut.
The Hokies took control of the game from the start, mounting a 75-yard touchdown drive on the opening series, and cruised to a 17-3 halftime lead.

What a difference one day makes in football. We Clemson fans were concerned about the hype piled on Miami, Louisville, and FSU coming into last week. All 3 fizzled. VT wasn’t even on our radar anymore than normal. They are now.
