Nike selected former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick as the face
of its "Just Do It" campaign, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

One has to wonder who in a major corporation like Nike makes decisions like this.

This is just so easy.

No America-hating nike.

At all!

Nothing "swoosh"!

At all.

Anything "shoosh" that I have gets landfilled (nothing goes to charity. At all.)

We have options.

We have determination.

This Veteran sees no reason to forgive Kaepernic or Nike; nor do I forget.

Sorry, but I don’t give a flying fk who is the “face of Nike”. I run 5-6 days a week, have for almost 40 years and will hopefully run for many more years. I’ve tried every brand and I buy only Nike running shoes and will continue to do so. I buy 3-4 pairs a year plus Nike running shirts, socks and shorts.

Nike makes my favorite size-15 running shoes period, and I refuse to let politics get in the way of running in the shoe that’s always been best—for me.

I think the only thing that would keep me from wearing Nike shoes is if they named the company “Clintonike”. Then I’d wear something else. (Cuz if you’ve ever seen one of my posts, you’ll know of my hatred of the Clintons lol!)

The #NFL season will start this week, unfortunately once again @Kaepernick7 is not on a NFL roster. Even though he is one of the best Quarterbacks in the league.

LOL! The former president of Iran weighs in...

Bad decision... And they likely have already figured that out. Announced today, this advertising ‘campaign’ will likely be over by the end of the week, if it even last that long.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve pretty much shredded my current pair of Nike shoes and was going to replace them. It would seem the Swoosh won’t be loose in my house.

This sickens me. I contacted them and politely told them how I felt. They hung up on me. Never again will I purchase anything made by Nike. Christmas, birthdays, 4 kids, 2 parents, brother, nephew, hundred friends, Nike never again. I will ask everyone I know to never buy a Nike product.

It sounds like Nike is caving to black racists on all fronts: Nike closes stores in South Africa following backlash over racist video

Does New Balance still make some models of shoes in the USA?
