Will point out that the person who wrote that article relied on anonymous sources for some of the key points:

Two switches in the cockpit of a Skyhawk need to be thrown to drop such a bomb, according to the sources.”
Sorry. If people aren’t willing to go on the record, their comments deserve closer scrutiny and additional skepticism - especially in such a key point.

But I tell you, it is irrefutable McCain left that ship as fast as he could catch a civilian hop and THAT is a fact indicating a very serious issue with his role in that disaster. No officer leaves his buddies behind on a burning crippled ship with 134 deaths and 160 injuries to be investigated by debriefings
