Law enforcement officers are responding to a reported officer-involved shooting at the Del Mar Racetrack Sunday night where a concert by rapper Ice Cube was scheduled.
People at the venue reported seeing a string of sheriff’s and police cars responding to the fairgrounds around 6:40 p.m.

I’m sure the shooting was just to draw our attention to Police violence against blacks in the community ...

What is an ice cube concert? like cracking ice or something . What putrid futility that must have been to actually pay money for that crap.
Short dude, looks Latin or maybe mulatto, waving a gun he allegedly had fired into the air. As he starts to turn toward one of the police officers (2 male, 1 female), at least one takes him down with 4 shots. Hard to tell who shot, looks to me like the male officer on the left toward whom the perp was turning.
i noticed a lot of the top tracks are doing this...booking rappers to appeal to a “younger” crowd. I thought only a matter of time before something happens...and ding ding..we have a winner. I actually started following racing alot more lately...so fed up with the other sports non sense...now this..
Rap concert? I recall when Del Mar track was a pretty upscale place. I guess the moral of the story is watch who ya book!
The concert hadn’t started yet, the races were still running. The perp was upset that the tickets to concert were sold out.
