I have always liked hot dogs but for the last few years they never seemed to turn out right. Then one day I bought a pack of Oscar Meyer beef ones because they were on sale.

When I cooked them in a large toaster oven, I forgot and overcooked them. At least I thought I had until I tasted them. They were just right. I like Nathans the best and when the price comes back down will try them the same way.

Yes!!! I like mine with chili no beans, a little mustard, finely chopped Vidalia onion, and slaw. The dog has to pop when bitten. :)

Hebrew National beef hotdogs with a bit of mayo and mustard, onions, sweet peppers and Cole slaw.

If God made anything better He kept it for Himself.

Hebrew National taste just as good as Nathans but they are greasier plus you only get 7 in a package.

Tulsa still has Coney Islanders. I’ve eaten in a lot of places in Tulsa, but for some reason, I’ve never eaten there. Best burger (and malts) in Tulsa? Hanks. Hands down. Hole in the wall, on Admiral, by all the mobile home dealers. Can’t get near the place at lunchtime.

Will use catsup, mustard, onions, dill pickles and sauerkraut on my dogs. But I also make a great hot sauce (ground beef, bell peppers, onions, tomato sauce and spices) to put on them with just onions and dill pickles.

I wonder if “Little Lannies” subs is still in business on 11th? My wife and I would eat one of their roast beef subs maybe once a month.

They were so rich and probably greasy that we thought it would be unhealthy to eat more than one a month.

They sure were good tho.

I grew up in Rochester, NY. Zweigle's white pop-open hots made from pork, and red pop-open hots, both with natural casing were what we ate. I live in Rome, NY, and make the trek to Wegman's in Syracuse to buy them from time to time. Plus they make other sausage products.

"Ah, remember Lum’s Hotdogs in Florida (many years ago)!"

I remember Lum's roast beef sandwiches. They were awesome.

Spicy brown mustard and onions on a toasted roll is heaven to me. Regular mustard is fine if no brown is around. Salhens hot dogs from Buffalo are awesome dogs
