Thanks for those kind words. Although it happened many decades ago, sometimes it feels like yesterday.
The final 10 days was a nightmare that included a last hope trip to Mexico where I had to carry her in my arms and later personally convince the pilot in San Diego to allow her on the plane to get her back home to pass.
My girls were only 4 and 1 and I feel so bad for them to not have any memories of their mother although my oldest has vague impressions or, perhaps, just the idea of her mother.
