Yes, the Huffington Post guesses the unusual use of the word “lodestar”, in the NYTimes letter, is frequent with Pence, alone, when compared to zero useage by other guesses who are senior officials close to the president.
It doesn’t otherwise sound like Pence, since he is known for the Moondoggie look, whenever the president speaks.
Personally doubt it’s Pence, if anything it’s someone writing to make it seem like it could be Pence.
I came across a comment elsewhere that joked it was written by mc Cain.
I haven’t read the op ed, not interested in the least, but saw that someone commented that the writer spoke of taking things off the President’s desk.
