Last call before week 1 starts on Thursday.

We usually have about 20 FReepers that join to trade insults and mock those that believe that Giselle's boy toy may be a better QB than Unitas, Tarkenton or even Romo (RIP). We have room for about another 5 or 6 players.

There is no cost and this is a low pressure league. Blow a week completely? It gets dropped.

We do ask that everyone make a donation to Free Republic during the season.

Ping out to those that have made a comment on various football threads.

Since this league is a Pick the Winner Each Week league, there is not a whole lot of study.

That said, I only remember a couple of perfect weeks over the last dozen years. It is harder than it looks.

To repeat, this is a fun, light hearted league, and we especially value those who can pun a quip, or quip a funny pun.

This is great fun. Yahoo doesn’t have the easiest platform to navigate, but the FReeper comments make the whole thing worthwhile. And Walt is a diligent Commissioner.

All that being said, Johnny Unitas was the greatest quarterback of all time.
