The message is plain and clear. If you will turn away from your conservative values, like McCain did, the media and Democrats will honor you. The media reporting on McCain's death is just as if a very popular president had died. All of the praise and honor is coming from Democrats, but McCain was supposed to be a Republican.
Meanwhile, in real America, Corker and Flake had to retire because they knew they would lose their primaries for being for just what McCain was for.

In early 2008, I told them I had voted for every republican on the ticket since Reagan was elected.
