Senator John ‘Pus Gremlin’ McCain was only loved by the leftist press because he was the go-to guy for attacks against his fellow Republicans.

Now we have Mitt ‘Mittens’ Romney trying to fill McCain's odious role as Wormtongue (Tolkien's archetypal sycophant, flatterer, liar, and manipulator).

Mittens actually likes being liked by the peeps. He just isn't all that likeable. McVain loved being liked by the press and giving the finger to the peeps.

I could be wrong, but I will be surprised to see Mittens descending to McVain's level. I also think he will tire of the job for two reasons: (1)He's used to being in charge, and (2)There are so many idiots in the U.S. Senate that he will barely be noticed.
