Rattlesnake Island Club (RIC) is an exclusive Private Resort dedicated to meeting the needs of its 65 equity Members. Because the Members own and operate the Club for their own benefit, no special request is too difficult to accommodate. An eclectic international staff is available for the season (end of May through the end of September) to accommodate every need. Rattlesnake Island is an oasis of privacy, relaxation, and fun in an otherwise chaotic world.
Rattlesnake Island is an 85 acre island resort in Lake Erie, located about a mile away from Put-In-Bay. With its own private airport and a marina that will accommodate the largest of yachts, there are a multitude of ways to arrive at Rattlesnake Island.
Once Members and their guests do arrive, there are plenty of things to do on “the snake”. You can jet ski, play golf, tennis, racquetball or handball… You can play bocce, horseshoe or miniature golf… Or you can enjoy your favorite cocktail and just chill out at the pool. The finest food served anywhere in the world is available at the Golden Pheasant Inn. You can order off the menu or just tell the Chef what you feel like having for dinner tonight! An extensive wine list offers classic wines from around the world to pair with your favorite dishes. But if you don’t see your favorite wine, just ask the Club Manager to stock it for you!
Members and their guests have plenty of accommodations to choose from at RIC. Many choose to stay on their boats in the Marina. Several Members own private residences on the Island. Or you can choose to stay at the rustic yet elegant accommodations at the Club, all with fantastic lake views. These include two four-bedroom lodges, exquisitely crafted from logs. There are also two spectacular Penthouse suites with panoramic lake views. Or you can choose the Niagara lodge, or the privacy of your own lakeside Gazebo room.
Rattlesnake Island Club is a great place for the entire family. Kids can play at the pool, enjoy all the Island’s amenities, or wear themselves out on water sports. They have their own private island complete with it own nature trail teeming with wild life to explore! Perhaps the greatest thing about Rattlesnake Island is its Members.
