I was thinking the same thing when I read that.
Pension= No social Security???
Only if your Pension is from the Federal Govt.
And that pension is way better than Social Security could ever be.
Government pension. My dad was a post office guy and my mom was a teacher. Their total monthly social security was about $110/month from when they were kids.
