I understand the REASON but are they really called county legislators? I’m used to County Supervisors in CA or
County Commissioners (I guess) in GA but I thought the label of legislator was strictly involved with the STATE LEGISLATURE or even in a stretch the U. S. Congress.

Nitpicky but struck me odd....
