…..He's "really concerned," just as most people who don't know anything about politics are. It's interesting that he mentioned violence in the streets on this, the 50th anniversary of the "Days of Rage" that blew up the Democratic convention in 1968. That convention and the violence that surrounded it defined the New Left and that generation of activists.
So could it really happen today? Those were entirely different times. America was a different country, young people were different, and the issues were a matter of life and death for many.
As much as the left tries to gin up hysteria about Trump killing people or being a threat to kill people, it's not working. As much as they try to make him out to be worse than Nixon, few outside of the rabid left believe it. There is very little chance of large-scale violence in the streets, such as what happened in Chicago 50 years ago with tens of thousands demonstrating and thousands fighting police. The passion just isn't there.
What Brennan and other anti-Trump hysterics are really saying when they tell us that Trump will cause riots is that they hope it happens.

The only violence will be if Congress attempts to impeach President Trump.
I believe Obama’s attorney general said the same thing about a year ago.
Yes, he should be talking to his communist/leftist and Islamic extremists followers about their violence in the streets, including Antifa.
However, it they want violence, it is violence they will be met with, and there is only one ending for it> It won’t be in their favor.

The man isn’t as dumb as I’d thought. If he and his cohorts continue down their treasonous and disenfranchising path, oh yeah... there’ll be violence in the streets.
And I thought Trump had rescinded his First Amendment rights. So why do his gums keep flapping?
In other words: Liberals haven’t been able to remove Trump and they, as communists, revere the Russian communist revolutions and desire violence.

This is the way that Communists actually promote violence, by using status positions to “warn” of it as a signal to their fellow traveler sheeple that the violence is now permissible. Such a “warning” from someone like Brennan is just like hadning out a permission slip. We should call it what it is - an incitement to violence.
Looks like the President hit a nerve.
Mr. Brennan, watch out with those reservations at the Red Hen.
